You have discovered the ultimate roll-on coating to finish off your epic epoxy projects! This top coat provides a natural finish that resembles natural stone, it is quickly and easily applied and offers unparalleled scratch resistance! We love it!
Ultimate Top Coat - Hybrid Coating Technology is a 2:1 ratio by volume and add water to thin as desired, do not exceed 15 ml of water per kit. Mix thoroughly with a mixing stick for 2-3 minutes. Pour mixed Ultimate Top Coat in a paint tray. Only mix enough top coat that can be applied in 15 minutes. De-shed two paint rollers. One will be used to apply the top coat wet, and the second will be used to dry roll the top coat. Saturate a paint roller with top coat and back roll excess off in paint tray. Apply to the centre of the countertop and roll top coat thin and even. Don't forget the edges. Dry roll the top coat to remove lap lines from roller. Only a thin coat is necessary. Apply and dry roll the top coat in 2.44 metre sections at a time. Avoid over rolling to keep excess bubbles. Stone Coat Countertops Ultimate Top Coat will be dry to the touch in 8 hours and ready for countertop use in 24 hours! This top coat will keep your project looking natural and is extremely scratch resistant leaving your project looking like the day your poured for many years to come! Clean with any non-abrasive cleaners designed for countertops.

Tools and Supplies
This tool is exactly what we use to gauge the correct thickness of the epoxy we lay out on the surface of each of our Stone Coat Countertop projects. This will take the guesswork out of the process!
We created this trowel out of necessity because it's difficult to find this type of trowel at local hardware stores so we made it even better! You can set this trowel on end so the drips will run away from the teeth making it possible to use over and over. This is an all steel trowel which is lightweight and easy to use. We design all of our products to work hand in hand with our Stone Coat Countertop system - from wood slabs, to finished countertops this trowel will do the job. You can use the folded handle to remove drips as they gel up about 3-4 hours after the project has been poured.

This is the brush we prefer to use when chopping our Stone Coat Countertop epoxy as well as brushing edges. Clean with Acetone and remove any loose bristles before using. We have tested many types of brushes and this is our favourite!

Bonding primer for applying epoxy over, laminate countertops, solid surface countertops, cultured marble, and other non-porous smooth hard surfaces. Low odour/low VOC. Performs like an industrial solvent primer. Cleans up with soap and water. Accepts all Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy products. Cures in low temperatures and high humidity. Bonding primer provides excellent adhesion.

XIM Advanced Technology UMA White is a high performance water-based Bonder that has both primer and adhesive-like properties. It provides excellent adhesion and wet adhesion to "Hard-to-Paint" surfaces. Sanding may not be necessary for most clean and dull paintable surfaces, but sanding or dulling the surface is required for maximum adhesion, specifically on surfaces such as tile, porcelain.
Polishing epoxy takes practice and experience. We recommend practicing on a sample to see the results and sheen level. The brilliant shine and finish achieved with just pouring Stone Coat Countertop epoxy is amazing, this step is optional and again is advanced. These are great sanding discs for removing any small imperfections that may be in your fresh surface. We use these discs to sand our tops to prep them for polishing. This step is optional. You will need polishing compound on a white foam pad to finish after sanding to get an amazing shine! You can also hone your finish with these discs. The size is 127mm & 152.4mm (5" & 6") hook and loop and works with 127mm (5 inch) random sanders. Sanding Discs included Merka Gold 220(x2), 240 (x2), 320 (x2), 400 (x2) and 600 (x2) Aberlon 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000 grit
In this kit you get 453.59 gram (16 ounces) of our Polishing Compound and 453.59 gram (16 ounces) of our Liquid Smooth Cleaner. The Compound is what we use to remove small surface scratches as well as the final step in the sanding and polishing process. The Liquid Smooth cleaner is simply a great cleaner and it makes the surface feel very smooth and smells great, Liquid Smooth is always the finishing touch on our projects. The Polishing compound can be used as often as you wish to spruce up your finish. For heavy scratches you can use our sanding kit first then the polishing compound as a final step.
Stone Coat Countertop Thickener is an additive for Quick Coat and Countertop resins in situations where a thickened resin mix is required, as in filling voids or for the application of resin on vertical surfaces.
About Quick Coat and the use of this additive thickener:
Quick Coat is designed to fill seams, gaps, cracks, and small voids. This is a Zero VOC product and can be sanded in 3 hours in a 24C [75F] temperature climate. Quick Coat has a 15 minute working time and is a multi-functional product. We use it to embed steel bars in woods slabs, fill in cracks and knot holes, and seal live edges for our woodworking projects. You can also use it as an adhesive to connect and seam MDF countertops together. You can use our Metallic Powders to colour and tint Quick Coat. Mix a 1:1 ratio of Part A and Part B for 2 minutes with a drill, then add the thickener if needed. Voids that go all the way through a piece or seams should be thickened. The more thickener you use the less runny the Quick Coat will be. Only mix up enough product for the area needed, and work quickly. For large voids and river tables we recommend using our Stone Coat Casting Epoxy. When adding the thickening powder, it's light weight and floats around in the air, so be sure to wear a mask.
When adding the thickening powder to Quick Coat, the epoxy will cure milky white, you can tint the thickened Quick Coat with our metallic powders to your desired colour.
***The epoxy thickener is CAB-O-SIL, This product should be applied using a respirator, it's very fine and will float in the air.***

Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy Resin, Heat resistant, Scratch resistant, Food safe, UV resistant, Zero VOC
This is the material we use to create our Stone Coat Countertops and Wood Slab Tops. Watch our how-to videos to learn to make your own amazing surfaces! This product is formulated for this purpose and is only found here! Stone Coat Countertop 1.89 litre [1/2 Gallon] Kit will cover approximately 0.9 square metre of surface for both the Colour FLOOD coat and Clear FLOOD coat (about 85 grams of Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy per 0.09 square metre [3oz per Square Foot] per coat) .
If you are doing a Wood Slab you will need to seal with a thin layers of Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy before the flood coating. We use 28.35 gram per 0.09 square metre [1oz per Square Foot] to SEAL wood slabs. We like to apply 2-3 seal coats on raw wood slabs before we apply our Flood Coat. MDF needs no seal coats. We like to sand and polish our slabs and countertops to bring them to the most high end look and feel possible. This is optional and many customers are happy with their results with out the extra work.
Each 2 Gallon kit of Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy will cover between 3.72-4.65 sq metre [40-50 sqft.]
Do not pour this material over 3.175 mm [1/8"] per coat, for deep thick pours use our casting resin.
Please note that 2 gallon kits may be supplied as 2 x 1 gallon kits.
